There is an MoU for a Formula One race in India - most probably New Delhi - in 2009. WIll it happen? No one is sure - maybe th IOA can pull it off, get the necessary permissions and sanctions and all. However if it works out, travel and tourism industry would get a huge boost. Also, massive infrastructure which is already planned for the Commonwealth Games 2010 for Delhi will be created a bit earlier for the F1 enthusiasts from around the world.
