Anyone seen any of these electric two wheelers? Seems there are 20 companies in India which plan to or are producing electric vehicles of some kind or the other. Hero Cycles has a collaboration with UK's Ultra and they have two electric scooter models. Both released in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. No news about other states. The Hero - Ultra electric two wheelers are priced between Rs 14,300 and Rs 28,000. Range is just 45 - 7- km for the two scooters. Join discussion...

Chennai's Kabirdass Motor is all set to enter the two-wheeler market with a range of electric scooters under the brand name K Xite. Initially the company plans to launch four models costing between Rs 26,500 and Rs 29,500. At present, there is no information on the expected range of these scooters.
