Mindblowing custom Mahindra Scorpio work by Kishan Lohiya
http://www.4x4offroads.com/mahindra-scorpio-suv-from-india.h...
Submitted by automanturk 32 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 2 hours ago
I don't care about the Scorpio frankly, to me it looks like a heavily made up grandmother in a mini skirt. But look at what this guy has done! Kishan Lohiya is based somewhere in India, and he has totally redesigned the Scorpio. It positively looks evil! Wide track, Super Swamper tyres airlifted from US, a winch, new lights.. The custom Scorpio is just too shocking to look at! Join discussion...

Dilip Chhabria is widely respected for the unique designs his company, DC Design churns out. Similarly, in some circles, he is reviled too - his designs are too corny, feel some. However, when called for, he produce some amazing work like the concept prototyping he did for Aston Martin. Now he plans to set up his own school of auto design for India to spread the good work. Let's see. Join discussion...

Sonalika signs Pininfarina on for designing its SUVs and MUVs
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=121466
Submitted by wanderingmind 32 months, 3 weeks, 5 days, 1 hour ago
Pininfarina said the move "confirms the international vocation of our design" and "attests the great attention Pininfarina pays to the emerging Indian market." Sonalika Group recently launched the Rhino - a Qualis lookalike. Nobody thinks Sonalika can make it real big, but the involvement of Pininfarina in India is interesting. Always good to see a small carmaker do such stuff. Way to go, Sonalika! Join discussion...

The new drift with the Indian carmakers are giving a makeover to their long running horses once in an epoch of time. This time the makeover is going to carry by the Hyundai’s unbeaten sedan Verna. Ever since the launch back in 2005, new variants of the Verna have not been in lack but the company is yet to give it a proper facelift. After the Fiesta and the SX4, now it is the turn of Hyundai Verna to go for a Makeover. However, its universal tag is Accent but for us it is Verna so that Hyundai can keep selling the old Accent in India as well. Join discussion...

Swift and Maruti DZire reflect the new face of Maruti
http://abagfullofdreams.blogspot.com/2008/05/swift-and-marut...
Submitted by automode 21 months, 3 weeks, 2 days, 7 hours ago
Maruti has metamorphosed from a company manufacturing cars with conventional designs to a company churning out stylish and sporty models. All Maruti cars since Swift bear a new, sporty DNA. Swift’s success has not only brought new customers but also changed the way Maruti is perceived. DZire is the second sedan in 10 months from Maruti, which is known as predominantly a maker of small cars. That is much more than what the companies known as makers of big cars do. Join discussion...
